Framed under the title Building the Museum from the Library: The book as an art object within Art collections, PhotoIreland has commissioned a series of essays by distinguished international contributors.
The three new texts added are:
- Pages and Walls. Photographic books in the Context of Exhibitions by David Campany (Curator, writer, editor, educator, and Creative Director of the International Center of Photography, New York)
- Sitting on the outside (looking at photobooks) by Daniel Boetker-Smith (Director of the Centre for Contemporary Photography in Melbourne)
- The Black Box, Capturing Shadows by Clément Chéroux (Chief Curator of Photography at the Museum of Modern Art, New York) and Sergio Valenzuela-Escobedo (artist and researcher)
