Sex or love? The question is the central concern for issue number 5 of The Runt, entitled ‘Flesh of the Runt’. Following tradition, it will of course be answered dialectically, for no sooner than you consider a glistening, pulsating sex organ, deep feelings of desire and romance pop up inside your mind. It is inconceivable to imagine a clit without a kiss, or a bulb without a lick. All of sex and all of love are born of their own communion. “But how?” you splutter. “Read on,” we say. Within the pages that follow, we make aesthetic sense of the eternal relationship between the body and desire. The fanny of art will eat the lad of the sense; The anus of poem will chew the pipe of lore. Too abstract? Then feel the texture of the paper in your hand. Dawn with horror at just how easy it is to be seduced by these printed black flecks. Bum, mouth, veiny, cum, hair. Put your glans in your hand or your finger on the button, and let’s get ready to f.
