This is a collaborative photography art book/zine that combines two different photographers Wiliam Camargo and Jaklin Romine different works around and in their home towns. Romine hailing from El Sereno and San Gabriel and Camargo coming from the southern part of Los Angeles county, Santa Ana. Both working in a medium or photography in similar but very different ways. Both artists dealing with issues of protest, performance, and the use of the body in space and time in their hoods and homes in their cities. Inside the book is photography from both artist and layered and textured design by Romine.

About the Artist
Jaklin Romine is a disabled Latinx artist who was born in Burbank, California, and is currently based in Los Angeles. She studied Studio Arts at Cal State LA and received a Master of Fine Arts from CalArts. She has shown in galleries such as New Women Space, Night Gallery, Navel, Gallery 825, and Avenue 50. Jaki’s art explores acts of care and giving and are a celebration of bodies and form, using materials ranging from flowers to draped fabrics to manipulated foam. Her installations are multi-dimensional explorations of her body and life that take the photographic medium and elevate it to a sculpture-installation.
