About the Artists
Through his practice he has been searching for remnants of his own past and the Dublin he remembers, while also trying to give a voice to those who’ve been left behind by the city’s constant growth and re-development. When he moved home to Ireland after the pandemic, he found it was impossible to find any accommodation in the city for less than a month’s income. As a result, he ended up staying with his parents down the countryside for much longer than he had originally planned – it’s now been two years in total. During this time, he found that his experiences and the conflicts and dynamics that arose from them has influenced much of his work.
