Tomoki Imai has unusual talent in photography. His work is always deep, thoughtful and beautiful sensitively. The photographs were taken after the big decease in Fukushima Area of March 11, 2011 cause of Tsunami and meltdown of nuclear power plant. He visited stricken area often and selected the places for shooting the sites 20 km far from there. Everything is quiet and looks having no difference between before and after. The safety outside of 20 km circle was stated by government… Is that true?
About the Artist
Tomoki Imai was born in Hiroshima Prefecture in 1974. In 1998, he graduated from Tokyo University of the Art. He now lives and works in Kanagawa Prefecture.
