‘CAKEHOLE includes photographs and collages which explore connections between banal moments within our everyday with fragmented women’s bodies.
I chose to have the book series printed on a Risograph machine – a Japanese digital printing press – because I liked how the texture of the printing process homogenises my images. The quality and texture of my images are rather diverse; ranging from iPhone images to medium format analogue film images, and it seems that the Risograph has been a good way to break down the visual differences of the images.’
