This book includes a selection of slides created between 1978 and 1983. They are colour images, reflecting the same obsessions that García-Alix portrays in his black-and-white photos.
It also includes a text, extracted from a conversation between Mireia Sentís, José Luis Gallero and Alberto García-Alix, in which the photographer tells what photography means in his life.
In the prologue to this book, Mireia Sentís and José Luis Gallero point out how surprising it is to see the powerful sense of colour that an emblematic creator of black and white photography such as Alix has.

About the Publisher
Founded in 1991, it is a publishing cooperative formed by a group of writers, editors, designers, translators, and, of course, readers—passionate readers. Its field of interest is defined by poetic texts and documents from the historical avant-garde. The editorial organization is carried out on a communal basis, depending on the greater or lesser availability of the members of the collective, made up of around fifty partners who own small shares. The lack of commercial objectives allows for the development of an amateur spirit, in which each book represents a new learning experience. Ardora—in Spanish, “ardentía”—is a Galician word that designates a certain phosphorescent luminosity occasionally perceptible in the sea.
