The photographic activity at the Rencontres d’Arles is so dense and rich that they wanted to give the readers a special issue. A little notebook like a walk. A walk on the path of what we have been doing for years, and which are continuing. This is clearly an exhaustive undertaking and is obvious extremly subjective. They wanted to show things that they love. A series of photographs with a playful use of photography, but also, above all, what concerns us most: discovering photography through those who practice it. And this question of the “Rencontres de la Photographie d’Arles”, which, despite everything, also benefits from the OFF movement, promises a very diverse universe every year under the same name. Not everything is included here. They have only taken you on a visit to a few artists and personalities whom you will meet during the Arles encounters, while passing through the numerous galleries.
